The Nordic Institute invites applications for postdoctoral fellowships in theoretical physics. Appointments are for 2 years starting September 1, 2017 or some other date to be agreed upon.
The scholarships are intended for scientists who have a recent doctoral, completed less than 5 years before the starting date of the fellowship, and wish to carry out research in fields represented at Nordita.
Applicants working in other areas will be considered when it is scientifically justified.
The deadline for applications is November 13, 2016. Online applications will be accepted, the application procedure is posted on jam.nordita.org
Research at Nordita covers a wide range of modern theoretical physics including astrophysics, condensed matter physics, biological physics, gravitation, cosmology and high-energy physics, astroparticle physics, and statistical physics/complex systems.
