Professor Position at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam: Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam is home to more than 23,000 students. The Faculty of Science, Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam invites online applications from experienced researcher in quantitative data analytics for filling up the Full Professor in Quantitative Data Analytics to lead a new research group in quantitative data analytics and also to develop a scientific research program supported by external funding at department in the area of quantitative data analytics. Position is for 1 year, with the possibility of extension. The position include (but are not limited to) machine learning, statistical learning, data analytics, and data mining.
Position: Full Professor in Quantitative Data Analytics
Location: AMSTERDAM.
Salary: €5,582 (H2) and a maximum €9,812 (H1), depending on your education and experience.
Educational qualifications: Interested candidates should have doctoral degree (Ph.D. degree) in a relevant area having publication record in top international journals and proceedings of major international conferences, Memberships of editorial boards of (prominent) scientific journals or programme committees of reputable conferences. Applicants are recognized as a key expert in the field with supervising Bachelor, Master, and Ph.D. students.
