Project Leader at NMF department NIOZ: The Royal NIOZ National Marine Research Facilities (NMF) department is responsible for the development and maintenance of high-grade research instruments for scientific sea research and facilitates the operation of national scientific marine research on board of our research vessels all-inclusive. NMF department NIOZ invited application from eligible candidates for Project Leader Marine Technology Development to managing the operation of the marine technology development unit in close cooperation with the Head of NMF.

About the Position: Selected candidates are expected to acquire research grants in the field of marine technology and work closely together with the other NIOZ scientists and contribute to the scientific publications and projects of Royal NIOZ.

Position: Project Leader Marine Technology Development

Salary: € 3,525 and € 5,512 gross per month on a full-time basis.

Duration: 2 years with the possibility of a permanent position

Location: Royal NIOZ Texel (The Netherlands)

Educational qualifications: Interested and eligible candidates must have Ph.D degree in a discipline related marine technology e.g. oceanographic research, physics, chemical or biological oceanography having experience with the development of seagoing equipment. Candidates must proficient in spoken and written English, fluent in English; Dutch as their mother tongue.
