Project Positions: ICSSR – University of Delhi: Advertisement for Various posts at the Department of Political Science, University of Delhi. The following positions are required for the ICSSR sponsored project.

Project Title: ‘Knowledge, Development and Politics in Post – Colonial India: Contestations in State, Market and Civil Society.

Designation and Duration of Employment

1. One Full time research associate: 20 months
2. One research assistant:12 months
3. One senior research associate: 20 months
4. One research assistant: 20 months

Note: The performance of the appointed candidates will be evaluated in every 6 months and if It

is found unsatisfactory then his/her services may be discontinued by the project director.

Qualifications required for various posts are as follows:

A. Research Associate

1. Essential Qualifications

1. A Master’s Degree in Political Science or related disciplines.
2. Should be enrolled in M.Phil/Ph.D program in Social Science/Humanities from any
   recognized university.
3. Some back ground understanding of the project theme

Desirable Qualification

1. Proficiency in English language.
2. Prior research experience of working on research project.
3. Elementary computer skills.

B. Research Associate (Honorary)

1. 1. Applicants are required to be pursuing Ph.D degree in Political Science or related
      discipline.
   2. Some back ground understanding of the project theme
   3. Proficiency in English language.
   4. Prior research experience of working on research project.
   5. elementary computer skills.
      Research Assistant (Honorary)
   6. Applicants should be enrolled in M.Phil program in Political Science or any related
      discipline
