Eligibility:
  • Applicant must have PhD Degree in any of the above mentioned three subjects and the CV must indicate capability of independent research.
  • Applicant should not be more than 45 years of age on the last date of application.
  • The selected fellow has to work under the guidance of Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyay Chair Professor, Faculty of Social Sciences, Banaras Hindu University.

  • Application in hard copy in prescribed format must be sent to: The Dean, Faculty of Social Sciences, Banaras Hindu University.
  • Research proposals and final reports should be either in English or Hindi.
  • Abstract of the Proposal (up to 500 words).
  • Detailed Research Proposal (about 3000 words in the format as indicated in the guidelines).
  • Brief academic CV (up to three pages) including: (i) Educational qualifications Graduation, Post-Graduation Phil, Ph D research; (ii) List of two best publications in the form of books/research; papers/reports with bibliographical details (iii) Details of scholarship received).
  • Self-attested Matriculation Certificate and Graduation/PostGraduation/M Phil mark sheets.
  • Self-attested copy of Ph. D Degree.
