This British Heart Foundation-funded project will develop novel 18F-labelled PET tracers for imaging reactive oxygen species for a variety of clinical applications. The post-holder will synthesise novel precursors, develop 18F-labelling strategies, and evaluate novel radiotracers ex vivo and in vivo using microPET imaging.
This post therefore provides opportunity for training in many techniques and approaches involved in imaging agent development.
