Research Associate Position at NTU: The School of Materials Science and Engineering, Nanyang Technological University invites project applications from highly motivated applicants interested in chemistry, materials engineering, and biology for filling up the project position of Research Associate with Specialisation in Biomaterials, nanotechnology, electrochemistry, medical implants.

Educational qualifications: Interested candidates should have Master’s Degree/PhD (doctoral degree) in Organic Chemistry, Polymer Chemistry, Biomaterials, or Adhesives or related fields or equivalent field and 1 – 3 years of academic/industrial research experience in related areas having strong organic chemistry or polymer chemistry background and are comfortable with multistep organic/polymer syntheses.
Requirements:
- well-known with polymer characterization techniques such as GPC, XPS, NMR, FTIR
- Proof of research publications or written communications
- Holding leadership capabilities in leading research projects.
- Capable to guide and train graduate students.
- Carry out teaching/ lab duties etc.
- An independent, creative and self-motivated personality
- Good command of oral and written English
