Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) seeking an internationally recognized senior scientist (Research director/Professor) with proficiency in nano-science and nanotechnology who can take accountability for the strategic development of nanotechnology
Qualifications required for Research director/Professor:
- Applicant must have an excellent academic record, an active research programme, and academic standing that demonstrate an internationally competitive research profile in nano-science and nanotechnology.
- Applicant is expected to reinforce the existing research activities at NTNU and must hold a PhD in a relevant scientific area.
- Applicant must demonstrate a scientific level in accordance with established international and national standards.
- Applicant with knowledge of application of clean room methods as available at NTNU NanoLab is considered an advantage.
- Applicant must document extensive experience in strategic development of the nanoscience and nanotechnology area as well as in scientific leadership.
- Applicants with excellent teaching and communication skills will be preferred.
