Qualifications / Requirements

  1. Should have completed the PhD thesis in photonics.
  2. The candidate must have experience in all the following areas – polarization singularities, V-points and lattices consisting of Poincare vortices, dark C-points, terahertz spectroscopy, 2D material physics, computational mathematics.
  3. Capable to work independently as well as to work in a team environment.
  4. Strong analytical, conceptual and programming abilities

 Responsibilities / Tasks

  1. Designing and conducting experiments
  2. Develop convolutional neural network model for image processing/reconstruction
  3. Exploiting advances in singularity optics for far field imaging with molecular resolution
  4. Noise analysis due to unwanted scattering and interference effects
  5. Generations and manipulation of polarization singularities
  6. Metasurface designing, fabrication and performance evaluation for AI based deep subwavelength imaging
  7. Conducting literature review
  8. Carrying out research related activities assigned by Principal Investigator
  9. Disseminating the outcomes of research in peer-reviewed journals
  10. Report preparation and data management
