Research Fellow (PhD) Position in Epidemiology at UoM: Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences, Melbourne School of Population and Global Health, University of Melbourne (UoM) was established with aims to strengthen the understanding, capacity and services of society to meet population health needs and to improve the quality and equity of health care. Centre for Epidemiology and Biostatistics, University of Melbourne (UoM) invited applications from highly motivated researcher who can pursue a dynamic research program for filling up the research assistant position in Neuroepidemiology.
About the position: selected candidates will join the Neuroepidemiology Unit (NEU), MSPGH, which investigates the epidemiology of multiple sclerosis, in particular modifiable lifestyle factors influencing progression. The Neuroepidemiology Unit (NEU), Centre for Epidemiology and Biostatistics, is led by Dr Sandra Neate and is funded by philanthropic donations.

Salary: $72,083 – $97,812 (Level A)
Educational qualifications: Interested and eligible candidates must have Master degree in public health, epidemiology or equivalent experience, Well-developed interpersonal skills with excellent verbal and written communication skills with previous experience and proficiency in data management and analysis using STATA or other statistical packages. Candidates with qualification or experience in biostatistics will be preferred.
