Research Fellow Position in Materials Chemistry at UQ: Australian Institute for Bioengineering and Nanotechnology (AIBN), The University of Queensland (UQ) invited applications from eligible candidates for filling up the full-time, fixed term position of Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Polymeric Materials for Membrane Fabrication to perform cutting-edge polymer material synthesis research within the Thurecht research group, a multidisciplinary research group located in both AIBN and the Centre for Advanced Imaging (CAI).
About the Position: Selected candidates will cover the design and fabrication of new membrane technology platforms through advanced materials synthesis and modification techniques.

Educational qualifications: Interested and eligible candidates must have PhD degree in polymer and materials chemistry, or an equivalent combination of relevant experiences, Evidence of a contribution to research, including peer-reviewed publications and applications for external grant funding with Project management and administrative skills and experience of polymer synthesis and modification, their formation into 3-dimensional networks, and their use in developing membrane technology and applicable materials. Candidates with Quantitative training and exposure of research on social disadvantages, fairness, welfare, etc. will be preferred.
