Research Fellow (Postdoc) Position in Genetics at UoM: Faculty of Science, School of BioSciences, University of Melbourne (UoM) invited applications from highly motivated researcher for filling up the position of Research Fellow in genomic imprinting funded by an ARC grant awarded to the Renfree/Shaw laboratory at the University of Melbourne School of Biosciences. School of BioSciences conduct research on Ecology, Evolution and Environmental Science; Genetics, Genomics Reproduction and Development; Plant Science and Integrated genomics.
About the position: Selected candidates will involve in both collaborative and independent scholarship and research activities suitable to understanding the origin and development of genomic imprinting and investigate the mechanisms that control it in marsupial germ cells, early embryos and the placenta.

Salary: $72,083 – $97,812 (Level A)
Educational qualifications: Interested and eligible candidates must have PhD in Reproduction, Development, Genetics or a related discipline, experience in techniques such as dissections, DNA and RNA extractions, genotyping, sequencing, methylation and histone analyses, transcriptomics, immunohistochemistry with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Candidates having experience in dissections, DNA and RNA extractions, genotyping, sequencing, methylation and histone analyses, transcriptomics, immunohistochemistry, analysis of transcriptomes, methylomes and genomes will be preferred.
