Microsoft Research (MSR) India offers Research Fellow program (formerly known as the Research Assistant program) to facilitate bright, young minds in India to do world class research, and prepare them to become tomorrow’s innovators and leaders. MSR India pushing the frontiers of computer science and technology.
Eligibility:
- Applicant must hold BS/BE/BTech or MS/ME/MTech in Computer Science or related areas, graduating by summer 2017, or
- Applicant must have completed such a degree in the past 2-3 years.
Selection criteria:
- academic performance
- raw smarts
- background in the areas in which the research is conducted
- proven ability or aptitude for research
Duration: recipients will spend 1-2 years with MSR India, gain valuable experience about how to do research, and then typically join a PhD program either in India or abroad.
