Research Fellow/Senior Research Fellow at University of Southampton: University of Southampton, Zepler Institute for Photonics and Nanoelectronics invited application from eligible highly motivated scientists for Research positions on ENIneering MAterial properties with advanced laser direct writing — ENIGMA’. These positions will be based in the Optoelectronic Research Centre (ORC) at the University of Southampton.

Total Vacancies: 3 Positions

2 Position-Research Fellow (level 4) and

1 Position-Senior Research Fellow (level 5)

Positions: Research Fellow/Senior Research Fellow

Salary: £30,395 to £48,677 per annum (Level 4 to Level 5)

Duration: Full Time Fixed Term (until 31/01/2022)

Location for position: Highfield Campus

Educational qualifications: Interested and eligible candidates must have PhD Degree/ equivalent professional qualifications and experience in femtosecond laser direct writing/ fundamentals of light-mater interactions/ ultrafast optics including few-cycles pulses/ nonlinear optics, along with a good track record of innovative research at an international level. Candidates with experience in ultrafast laser material processing/ micro and nano-optics/ optical engineering will be preferred.
