Research in Advanced Neuroimaging at University of Southampton: Faculty of Medicine, University of Southampton invited application from eligible highly motivated scientists for Research Fellow position in Advanced Neuroimaging to join Clinical Neurosciences in the Faculty of Medicine, at the University of Southampton. Position is available to work on the neuroimaging aspects of two exciting neuroscience projects, funded by external grants.

Project 1- Brain development and cognitive/behavioural outcomes in children with a history of neonatal hypoxic-ischaemic encephalopathy (Dr Brigitte Vollmer).

Project 2- Structural brain changes during systemic inflammation in adults with progressive multiple sclerosis (http://go.soton.ac.uk/6ya) (Dr Ian Galea).

Total Vacancies: 1 Position

Positions: Research Fellow/Senior Research Fellow

Salary: £30,942 per annum

Location for position: Southampton General Hospital

Educational qualifications: Interested and eligible candidates must have Master Degree/ PhD Degree according the position with background in neuro MRI image processing is essential, including computer science, MRI physics, or other related area and experience in image analysis and programming, with strong mathematical/statistical skills.
