Candidate will join the Tavassoli lab, to work as part of a multidisciplinary team funded by Cancer Research UK.
About the project: This project initially involved the identification of cyclic peptide and small molecule inhibitors of the above protein-protein interaction. It will identify, assess and develop compounds that selectively inhibit the protein-protein interaction between KRAS and its effector proteins.

Educational qualifications: Interested and eligible candidates must have PhD Degree in chemical biology or biochemistry or related discipline eg chemical biology and biophysics and extensive experience and expertise in biophysical methods of characterising ligand-protein interactions, and be familiar with standard molecular biology techniques such as cloning and protein expression.
