Research Scientist in 3D tissue at RIKEN: RIKEN Center for Biosystems Dynamics Research, Laboratory for Human Organogenesis invites online applications from eligible bright candidate who is interested in research field in Matter Science for filling up the Research Scientist position to carry out research and other work in accordance with research themes of the team. BDR introduced the Organoid Project this fiscal year, which aims to generate organoids, develop new technologies for 3D tissue culture, and solve fundamental biological questions of multi-cellular systems and will investigate both organoids from ES/iPS cells and adult tissue stem cells.

About the position: This project aims to show RIKEN BDR as a world-class base for 3D organogenesis research by building a systematic framework for organoid research, taking advantage of the interdisciplinary nature of the center which includes fields of biology, engineering, mathematics, etc. and also to collaborate with laboratories within and outside the Center for Biosystems Dynamics Research (BDR).
