McGovern Institute for Brain Research-Feng Lab is inviting applications to join a team that is exploring new animal models and technologies in brain disorder research. The selected candidate will lead projects that are developing novel animal models and investigating new mechanisms of brain disorders and developing gene therapy approaches for brain disorders.
Qualifications / Requirements
- D. and/or MD degree in biological or another related field;
- At least four years of directly relevant research experience in the field of neuroscience or genetic engineering; extensive knowledge of neuroscience, brain disorders, transgenic animal models, genome editing, molecular and cellular biology;
- Hands-on experience with genome editing and with designing, generating, and analyzing transgenic animals; and training and experience in molecular and cellular methods, genetics, and CRISPR technology.
