Research Scientist (Postdoc) Position in computational science at RIKEN: RIKEN Center for Computational Science (R-CCS), Processor Research Team invites online applications from eligible PhD holder strongly motivated for filling up the vacant Research Scientist (Postdoc) Position in computational science available at RIKEN Center for Computational Science (R-CCS).

About the Position: Selected candidates will work on development of architecture evaluation environment and exploration of architecture design space as part of research contracted with New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization (NEDO).

Note: Candidates who earned a doctorate within the past 5 years will be appointed as Postdoctoral Researchers, and those who earned a doctorate more than 5 years ago will be appointed as Research Scientists

Educational qualifications: Interested candidates should have doctoral degree in computational science related field with experience and knowledge in computer architectures based on data-flow computing, such like CGRAs, and their system software including compilers. Candidates with deep background of ordinary von-Neumann architectures, circuit design and implementation with FPGAs, and (event driven) processor simulation/emulation techniques will be preferred.
