Researcher position at Plasmonics Group, NIMS:  Research Center for Functional Materials, Plasmonics Group, National Institute for Materials Science (NIMS) invited applications from eligible candidate for filling up the Researcher (Permanent) position Research.

About the position: Main work of this position is manipulation of biomolecules, which includes purification, synthesis, amplification, and so on. Research & Development of new biosensors. Highly sensitive optical sensors for biomolecules, especially miRNA and DNA, are being experimentally investigated.

Positions: Researcher

Salary: ¥4,500,000/year.

Location for position: National Institute for Materials Science, 1-1 Namiki, Tsukuba City, Japan.

Educational qualifications: Interested and eligible candidates must have a PhD degree within the last ten years. Candidates with research background on biotechnology or biochemistry will be preferred.
