Seeking Research Scientists, Postdoctoral Researchers, Technical Scientist, Technical Staff I or Technical Staff II(W747) at the RIKEN Center for Advanced Intelligence Project.

Overview: The Center for Advanced Intelligence Project has been launched with subsidy from Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science & Technology-Japan for “Advanced Integrated Intelligence Platform Project (AIP)

Research Category

  1. Development of fundamental informatics technology for making a revolutionary impact on science and technology and for contributing to realizing practical use
  2. Creation of knowledge with integrating scientific/technological datasets for providing value to the economy and society through innovative application of the technology
  3. Identification of ethical, legal, social issues emerging from a social environment in which AI technologies are becoming pervasive, and Proposal for creating a social system that is adaptable to technological advances by incorporating humanities and social sciences

Qualifications

  1. Research Scientists or Postdoctoral Researchers:
    Research Category 1 and 2:Applicants must already possess, or to receive, a doctoral degree in information science technology or related areas.
    Research Category 3:Applicants must already possess, or are scheduled to receive a doctoral degree by the time of appointment,or equivalent experience.
  2. Technical Scientist:
    Applicants must possess a bachelor degree or higher with the related knowledge, technics, skills, or equivalent experience. Graduate school alumni are preferable.
  3. Technical Staff I and II:
    Applicants must have graduated from a university, junior college, or vocational college and possess related knowledge and skills.
