The Robertson Scholars Leadership Program is open for students of all citizenships and nationalities.

 Scholarship Details: the scholarship would cover:

  • Full tuition fees
  • Boarding and Lodging expenses and
  • Fees for up to 6 semesters

Eligibility Criteria: the candidate must fulfil the following eligibility criteria. The applicant-

  • Must have a minimum 3.0 GPA after the 1st semester at UNC or Duke
  • Must be enrolled for a full-time course
  • Must not be a transfer student
  • Must be students who are in their 1st -year/freshman year of study
  • Must not be a current Merit Scholar at UNC and Duke
  • Can be a student with outside scholarship
  • may apply regardless of whether he/she has applied as High School student or not
  • As long as the application is for 1st-year undergraduate admission to one or both of these universities (Duke and UNC), the candidate is eligible to apply for the Robertson.

  • The application requires students to self-report either their SAT/ACT, AP/IB scores.
  • GPA
  • An official transcript as part of the university admissions application to Duke
  • Two letters of recommendation – one recommendation letter must be from a current faculty member at Duke.
  • Applicants must have good English skills (writing, reading, and speaking)
