CSIR-NEERI invite applications for Scientific positions for the year 2020. Online applications are accordingly invited from Indian Nationals for the following 7 [Seven] scientific positions at Lateral Level (Senior Scientist/ Principal Scientist & Senior Principal Scientist posts are lateral entry posts, in which reservation is not applicable).

About the position:

1. Senior/ Principal Scientist (1 Post)
   1. Qualification: D. (Environmental Science & Engineering / Environmental Engineering) OR Ph.D. (Environmental Science). Area:- Water and wastewater treatment, technology development with field testing/implementation.

Age Limit and Experience: For Senior Scientist – Age Limit: 37 years. Experience: 2 years for Ph.D (Environmental Science). For Principal Scientist – Age Limit: 45 years. Experience: 3 year

2. Senior/ Principal Scientist (2 Posts)
   1. Qualification:D. (Chemistry) Area:- Teaching and other academic/non-academic duties.

Age Limit and Experience: For Senior Scientist – Age Limit: 37 years. Experience: 2 years. For Principal Scientist – Age Limit: 45 years. Experience: 3 years.

3. Principal/ Senior Principal Scientist (2 Posts)
   1. Qualification: D. (Environmental Science & Engg./Environmental Science/Environmental Engg./Chemistry/Civil Engg./ Chemical Engg.) Area:- EIA, EC processes, Environmental economics, sustainability.

Age Limit and Experience: For Principal Scientist – Age Limit: 45 years. Experience: 3 years. For Senior Principal Scientist – Age Limit: 50 years. Experience: 6 years.

4. Senior/ Principal Scientist (1 Post)
   1. Qualification:D. (Science) Area:- Life Sciences/Microbiology/Bio-technology

Age Limit and Experience: For Senior Scientist -Age Limit: 37 years. Experience: 2 years. For Principal Scientist – Age Limit: 45 years. Experience: 3 years

5. Principal/ Senior Principal Scientist (1 Post)
   1. Qualification: D. (Science/Engineering) Area:- Environmental Science/Environmental Engineering.

Age Limit and Experience: For Principal Scientist – Age Limit: 45 years. Experience: 3 years. For Senior Principal Scientist – Age Límit: 50 years. Experience: 6 years
