CSIR-Indian Institute of Integrative Medicine (CSIR-IIIM), Jammu, is a premier multi-disciplinary R & D organization in India which is an autonomous body under the Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India. CSIR-IIIM, Jammu.

The Institute is interested in recruiting enthusiastic young researchers with proven track record (industrial research experience) of scientific achievements and those with aptitude and attitude for undertaking collaborative drug discovery projects, rather than individual-driven research, will be preferred.

CSIR-IIIM is engaged in high quality research and development, focused on drug discovery from natural resources (medicinal plants and microbial species).

The key research areas of CSIR-IIIM are

• Natural Products/ Medicinal/Analytical/Bio-Organic Chemistry,
• Plant Sciences (Plant Biotechnology/ Biodiversity/ Genetic Resources/Taxonomy/Ethno Biology),
• Fermentation Technology,
• Clinical Microbiology,
• Biological/ Pharmacological Sciences,
• Quality Control/Quality Assurance and
• cGMP/Formulation Development.

The emoluments and age limit for various posts, as per norms, is summarized as under:

Senior Scientist: 03 posts – UR (Lateral Level Post) Pay Level-12 [78,800-209200] *Emoluments (in Rs. 109016/-) **Upper Age Limit not exceeding (as on last date ) 37 years

Scientist 01 post – UR (Entry Level Post) Pay Level-11 [67,700-208700] *Emoluments (in Rs. 94253/-) **Upper Age Limit not exceeding (as on last date ) 32 years

* Emoluments means approximate total emoluments as on 10.10.2020 on minimum of pay including House Rent Allowance in Class ‘Y’ City and other allowances.
