The Faculty of Science and Forestry at University of Eastern Finland (UEF) is inviting applications for a Senior Researcher or a Postdoctoral Researcher position in materials research. The position is available in Department of Applied Physics. The position is part of the project “All-solid-state lithium ion battery with full silicon anode” funded by the Academy of Finland. The aim of the project is to realize the concept of full silicon anode that is based on mesoporous free-standing silicon film integrated with solid polymer electrolyte.
Requirements:
- The applicants are expected to have a background in Materials Science, Materials Characterization, Polymer Chemistry, Solid Electrolytes and/or electrochemical testing of Li-ion batteries.
- Candidate is expected to hold a doctoral degree from an applicable field.
- Candidate must also have good teaching skills.
- English is used as the language of instruction and supervision in this position.
