The Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB) is offering Women Excellence Award to reward young women scientists (below age 40) who have excelled in science and got recognition from any of the National Science Academies* in India.

- Indian National Science Academy, New Delhi
- Indian Academy of Science, Bangalore
- National Academy of Science, Allahabad
- Indian National Academy of Engineering, New Delhi
- National Academy of Medical Sciences, New Delhi
- National Academy of Agricultural Sciences, New Delhi
Eligibility
- The applications are open ONLY for Women Scientists.
- The age of the applicant should not exceed 40 years as on submission date.
- Applicant must be having recognition from any one or more of the national academies such as Young Scientist Medal, Young Associate etc.
Fellowship award:
- Research grant of Rs. 5 lakhs per annum and Rs 1 lakh per annum as overhead charges for a period of three years.
