Sir Thomas Peel Dunhill Research Scholarship is one of many trust-funded scholarships available through the Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences for students who have applied for, or are enrolled in a graduate research degree of the faculty.

Benefits:
  • The duration of the scholarship is up to One year.
  • The scholarship provides a fortnightly allowance of approximately $500/year (pro rata).

Eligibility:

To be considered for this scholarship, applicant must:

  • be applying for or enrolled in a graduate research degree in the Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences
  • satisfy the faculty’s eligibility standards for course and scholarship

Application for Sir Thomas Peel Dunhill Research Scholarship:

  • applicants currently enrolled in the research degree for which they seek the scholarship must complete an online application for the Graduate Research Scholarships group
  • Recipients of trust funded scholarships are required to reapply annually (by 31 October) or their scholarship funding will cease.

Selection

  • Applicants are shortlisted by the Faculty Research Training Committee on the basis of academic merit and the terms of the trust.

Outcome:

Successful candidates will be advised of the outcome of their application according to the Faculty’s published timelines.
