The SMART Centre (Singapore-MIT Alliance for Research and Technology) invites applications for a Postdoc position in the area of Applied Soft Matter. The successful applicant will be expected to work on the microfluidic production of muco-adhesive particles and design /carry out assays to access their function and efficacy.
The successful candidate will be reporting to Prof Saif Khan (NUS, SMART) and Prof. Patrick Doyle (MIT, SMART) and work with their team of researchers and clinical collaborators.
Requirements
Candidates with an earned or soon-to-be-earned PhD degree in Chemical, Materials Engineering, Physics/ Mechanical and related disciplines will be considered,
Candidates with research track record is in the broad areas of microscopy, microfluidics, materials, materials characterization (such as AFM and rheology), and related disciplines. Ideally the successful candidate should be able to be supervising more junior researchers in all aspects of research.
