Required Qualification

1. A Master’s degree with 55% marks (or an eqivalent grade in a point-scale wherever the grading system is followed) in a concerned/relevant /allied subjectfrom an indian University ,or an eqivalent degree from an accredited foreign university
2. Besides fulfiling the above qualification the candidate must have cleared the National Elgibility Test (NET)conducted by the UGC or the CSI.or a similar test accredited by the UGC.like SET or who are or have been awarded a Ph.Degree in accordance with the University Grants Commision

Principal (M.Phil, Ph.D)

Required Qualification

Professor/ Associate Professor with a total service/ experience of at least fifteen years of teaching/research in Universities, Colleges and other institutions of higher education; iii. A minimum of 10 research publications in peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals; and iv. A minimum of 110 Research Score as per Appendix II, Table 2

Pay Scale

Pay Scales as per the U.G.C., State Government & Swami Ramanand Teerth Marathwada University’s rules from time to time. The Pay of Principal shall be equivalent to the pay of Professor i.e. at Academic Level 14 with rationalized entry pay of Rs.1,44,200/- with existing special allowance of Rs. 6,750-/ per month.

Assistant Professor

Required Qualification

1. Good academic record defined by the concerned University with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale where ever grading system is followed) at the Master’s Degree level in a relevant Subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited Foreign University
2. Besides fulfilling the above qualification, the candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET.

Note:

1. Candidates who are, or have been awarded a Ph.D Degree in accordance with the University Grants commission minimum standards and procedure for Award of Ph.D. Degree) Regulation, 2009, shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET/SLET/SET for requirement and appointment of Assistant Professor or equivalent positions in Universities/Colleges/Institutions.
2. NET/SLET/SET shall also not be required for such Masters programs in disciplines for which NET/SLET/SET is not conducted.
