The Stiftung Preussischer Kulturbesitz has established its own grant program. Every year scholars from across the world pursue their research at one of the Foundation’s institutions.

Number of Scholarships: about 12

Duration: 1-3 months

About the programme:

  • The programme primarily dedicated to foreign researchers, providing them the opportunity to work in the Foundation’s museums, libraries and archives, make professional contacts and participate in the academic and cultural life of the Stiftung Preussischer Kulturbesitz.

Scholarship value:

  • scholarship amount is granted based on the candidates’ qualifications
  • Bachelor’s & Master’s degree holders receive EUR 900/
  • Doctoral researchers or with equivalent qualifications receive EUR 1,200/month
  • one-off travel allowance of EUR 500 is also granted

Target Group

  • Programme is open to graduates, doctoral candidates and post-doctoral researchers whose research projects are related to the institutions of the Prussian Cultural Heritage Foundation

Academic Requirements

  • Applicant must at least hold first higher-education degree

Application requirement:

The following application documents must be submitted:

  • Completed application form
  • CV in tabular form
  • 2 letters of recommendation by university teachers concerning the applicant’s academic qualification
  • List of publications;
  • Copies of university diplomas and of certificates indicating the conferral of academic degrees;
  • Description of the project with statements concerning the justification and overall aim in detail
