Role of the Technical Support Scientist:
- Recipient will ensure customer satisfaction with the drug design and materials software through telephone and email discussions about scientific issues and software usage and performance;
- logging and tracking of problems and enhancement requests;
- writing custom python scripts for customers;
- channeling customer feedback to the development team;
- helping to diagnose problems in software
Qualifications:
- Applicant must have background in Computational Chemistry
- Applicant must have experience with pharmaceutical applications of molecular modeling software tools
- Applicant with excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills will be preferred
- Applicant must possess strong problem-solving skills
- Applicant must have broad knowledge of molecular modeling theory and applications
- Applicants with experience with scripting languages (python preferred), experience with customer support will have an edge
- Applicants with Multilingual fluency will be preferred
