Tenure-track Assistant Professor in Economics 1545 views

The Department of Economics at the University of Oslo invites applications for one tenure-track position as Assistant Professor for seven years. The position is for a general research position with some teaching and administrative duties. The assistant-ship is open for all areas in Economics and Finance. In particular the department encourages candidates with a background in Finance to apply.

Qualifications:

  • Applicant must be excellent economists with expected completion of PhD not later than August 2017.
  • Applicants who have been employed in a research position for more than a year must apply for the department’s tenure- track position as Associate Professor.

Selection criteria:

  • The valuation of applicants is based on scientific merits, teaching and personal qualities, as well as the Department’s teaching requirements and long-term academic development.
