ICFO – Institute of Photonic Sciences invites applications for tenure-track Group Leader positions under the NEST program. The program is supported by a generous private endowment by Cellex Foundation Barcelona and Fundacio Mir-Puig Barcelona, offers outstanding opportunities for young scientists aiming to start and lead an independent research group.

Requirements:

  • Applications are open to ambitious young scientists with an innovative research program at the forefront of any branches of science and engineering that use light-based concepts or technologies.
  • Applications with programs addressing multidisciplinary topics that complement ICFO’s existing core strengths are particularly welcome.
  • Applicants are expected to hold an outstanding record of research achievements and publications in top-quality journals.
  • NO restrictions of citizenship apply to the ICFO positions
