Tenure-track positions at the Assistant Professor level at IISc Bangalore India
The Department of Inorganic and Physical Chemistry (IPC) at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore, is inviting applications for tenure-track positions at the Assistant Professor level in all areas of experimental inorganic and physical chemistry, particularly those related to energy systems, electrochemistry, polymer chemistry, surface science, soft matter, and catalysis.
Requirements
Applicants for these positions must have a doctoral (Ph.D.) in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Physics or associated disciplines, two or three years of postdoctoral research experience, and a distinguished record of publications.
Successful applicants will be expected to develop an independent program of high-impact research in their area of expertise, and to contribute significantly to the undergraduate and graduate teaching activities of the department. Outstanding candidates of proven independent academic record may be considered for higher positions.
