Joint Doctoral Program by TERI University and Deakin University, Australia. Applications are called for admission to the Regular (Full-time) Joint PhD program presented together by above mentioned Universities. This Joint PhD program is a multidisciplinary course offered with the goal to encourage high quality PhD research on themes relating to sustainable development. This doctoral program is designed to provide prospect for students to carry out taught courses as well as attain improved practical experience in order to become path breaking researchers, academicians and practitioners at par with international benchmarks.
Salient features:
- This degree is combined efforts of both Universities
- Within the overarching area of sustainable development, the doctoral program mainly promotes research on thematic areas relating to food and energy security, water science and governance, nano-biotechnology and sustainable cities.
- Scholars will have admittance to the facilities and services of both TERI and Deakin University.
Eligibility:
- Master’s degree from a recognized leading University or B Tech degree from a recognized leading University with aggregate percentage above 70%.
- UGC/NET/GATE Qualified applicants will be given preference.
- Preference given to candidates with a publication profile.
- Selected scholars will be based at TERI University and will also get an opportunity for international exposure by visiting Deakin University, Australia during their PhD.
- On successful completion of the program, scholars will receive two separate testamours from both Universities.
