Two Postdoc Positions at the University of Montreal, Canada
Position Details
- Position 1: Thermally activated delayed fluorescence
An immediate position is available for a postdoctoral researcher in the Skene group at the Université de Montréal in the area of organic electronics. The project will focus on the preparation and characterization of organic fluorophores for thermally activated delayed emission.
Requirements: Candidates should have experience in organic synthesis, handling air/moisture sensitive compounds, characterization techniques, and have obtained their Ph.D. within the past 3 years.
Application Procedure: Candidates should send their CV to w.skene@umontreal.ca.
- Position 2: Stimuli responsive polymers
A position is immediately available for a postdoctoral researcher in the area of organic polymer synthesis. The position is located in Montreal, Quebec Canada.
Requirements: The candidates should possess strong expertise in the area of controlled polymer synthesis and characterization and should have received their Ph.D. within the past 3 years. Experience in TGA, DSC, GPC and controlled radical polymerization would also be an asset. The research project will involve synthesizing multi-responsive thin polymer films and their surface characterization using different techniques such as XPS, ellipsometry, FTIR, contact angle measurements, AFM.
