Two Researcher positions in Agroecology 826 views

The Department of Plant Sciences, Faculty for Biosciences at the Norwegian University of Life Sciences (NMBU) has two 3-year vacant researcher positions in Agroecology.

Tasks:
  • To contribute to the action research management and the development of action-based and -oriented learning in the NEXTFOOD cases, including tasks associated with the NMBU’s master course Agroecology: Action Learning in Farming and Food Systems.
  • Participation in design, facilitation and management of the case development and research processes, including the running of workshops in the cases, gathering and analysis of data and writing of internal documents, EU project deliverables and scientific publications.
  • Participation in the running of the NMBU case, which includes participation in educational activities as associated with the action research in the case.

 Qualifications:

  • Applicant must hold Master’s or PhD degree, preferably in Agroecology or an equivalent area
  • Experience with both qualitative and quantitative research methods
  • Experience with action learning and action research
