The University of British Columbia (UBC) invites applications for Postdoctoral Position in Computational Biology. This position is a co-supervised postdoctoral position which is available in the Mayor and Gsponer labs at the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, and Michael Smith Laboratories, Canada.
This position is backed by CIHR for a study related to protein aggregation and features associated aggregation-prone proteins.
Requirement:
- Applicant is expected to be a motivated team player who fits into a multidisciplinary research environment.
- Applicant must have recently or nearly completed the Doctorate, published at least one first author research publication in a peer-reviewed journal
- Applicant must have experience in computational science and a strong background in life science and biochemistry.
