The UNU-IIGH (United Nations University- International Institute for Global Health) PhD Fellowship Programme offers opportunity for candidates registered in a PhD programme to develop their intellectual vision beyond their scientific disciplines.
Eligibility:
- The Fellowship Programme is open to scholars who are enrolled in PhD programmes in educational institutions around the world.
- Applicants from developing countries and women are particularly encouraged to apply
Fellowship value:
- monthly stipend for One year duration of the fellowship
- the fellow apart from own research work, is expected to take part in the research and academic activities related to UNU-IIGH thematic areas
Research topics includes:
- Systems Thinking for Urban Health
- Governance for Global Health

- Cover letter describing motivation and how a 12-month PhD Fellowship with UNU-IIGH will be benefitting you and UNU-IIGH
- abstract of current PhD research/dissertation

- 2 reference letters to support the application (one must come from your current PhD supervisor)
- Copy of passport details page (scanned copy)
