Scientist B (Chemistry)

Ministry: Ministry of Home Affairs

Department: Directorate of Forensic Science Services

Number of Posts: 01

Salary: (Pre-revised pay scale PB – 3, Rs.15600 – 39100/- plus GP – 5,400/-) Revised Pay Scale Level – 10 in pay matrix as per 7th CPC). Total emoluments excluding T.A. and HRA at the time of initial appointment will be Rs. 56,100/-p.m. approximately.

Qualification (s):

  • Master’s Degree in Chemistry / AIC by examination / Biochemistry / Forensic Science with Chemistry as one of the subjects at Bachelor of Science level from a recognized University.
  • 3 year experience of analytical methods and research therein in the field of Chemistry in any Central Government or State Government organization or recognized research institute or Forensic Science Laboratory under the Central or State Government.
  • Desirable qualifications (s): Experience of working in a Forensic Science Laboratory.

Lecturer (Bahasa Indonesia)

Qualifications (s):

  • Master’s degree in Bahasa Indonesia language from a recognized University or Institution.
  • One year Experience in teaching or translation from Bahasa Indonesia language to English or Hindi or vice-versa.
  • Desirable qualifications (s): Doctorate degree in Bahasa Indonesia language (Ph.D) from a recognized university.

Lecturer (Burmese)

Qualifications(s):

  • Desirable qualifications(s): Doctorate degree in Spanish language (Ph.D) from a recognized university.

Age criteria for all posts:

  • Not exceeding 35 years as on normal closing date.
  • Relaxable for regularly appointed Central / UT Govt. servants upto five years as per the instructions issued by the Govt. of India from time to time.
