The Department of Architecture in the College of Architecture, Art, and Planning at Cornell University invites applications for visiting faculty term positions beginning in fall 2020 and spring 2021. The duration of the visiting appointments will typically be for one semester or two semesters but may be up to three years, depending on the qualifications and interests of the candidates as well as the department’s academic needs.
About the position:
- Applicants for the visiting faculty positions should possess a strong teaching record, graduate and/or professional degrees in architecture or associated fields, evidence of significant research and creative work in design and contemporary practice, and expertise in one or more of the following fields of investigation: architectural theory, urbanism, sustainability and environmental systems, digital media, and emergent technologies.
