VU Fellowship Programme (VUFP): Master’s Scholarships 850 views

Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam is offering the VU Fellowship Programme (VUFP) to talented prospective international students to pursue a Master’s degree.

Eligible candidates  
  • The VU Fellowship Programme (VUFP) is a Merit scholarship programme for strongly motivated students with excellent study results.
  • Candidates can prove their academic excellence with a GPA of at least 80% of the highest possible mark.
  • Candidates must apply for the first year of full-time English taught Master’s programme at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam starting per September 2019.
  • Candidates should not have the Dutch nationality.
  • The degree with which candidate is seeking admission has not been obtained in the Netherlands.

Duration of scholarship: one or two-year Master’s programme

Scholarship value: tuition fees (does not provide any additional allowance towards study or living costs).

Application procedure

  • Register for Master’s programme. The last date for applying for master’s programme is 1 February 2019.
  • Submit VUFP application in VUnet (Deadline: 1 February 2019) and include 3 documents in PDF format:
  • Proof of excellence/ GPA and grading scale
  • Motivation Letter includes the following in motivation letter: 1) Why do you want to study this specific Master’s programme? 2) What are your future goals? 3) Why do you deserve the VUFP scholarship?
