The University is inviting applications for Bay of Plenty Rugby Union Doctoral Scholarship.
Nationality: open for international students, New Zealand citizens and permanent residents
Students planning to enrol in full-time doctoral research in the Faculty of Health, Sport & Human Performance at the UoW Adams Centre for High Performance based in Tauranga can apply for the scholarship.

Scholarship Award Benefits: The Scholarship offers:
- a stipend of up to $15,000 per annum, payable in monthly instalments and
- domestic tuition fees for the duration of the course
Duration of the scholarship: 3 years

Eligibility Criteria: the applicants should:
- demonstrate competence in the English language prior to admission.
- show how their intended research will align with supporting the development of rugby athlete performance.

- 2 written academic references
- If applicable, verified copies of academic transcripts from any tertiary institutions (other than the University of Waikato) the candidate has attended
