William P. Heidrich Research Fellowships for 2019 is now open to be applied for.

All types of research projects, academic, creative, journalistic, etc., will be considered, and no specific credentials are required.

Scholarship Award Value: The scholarship would provide:

  • $1,500 for a project requiring a residence of 1 week or more
  • $3,000 for a project requiring a residence of 3 weeks or more

Eligibility Criteria: 

  • Applicants must be 18 years old or older.
  • There are no academic requirements.
  • Applicants whose first language is not English would be required to provide proof of proficiency in English.

How to apply: The mode of application is online.

Documents required:

  • The applicant should provide a project proposal of not more than 500 words or fewer.
  • The proposal should describe the research topic in detail. It should also include the reference why Labadie Collection materials are central to the work. The explanation should be as specific as possible.
  • A personal statement of 500 words or fewer to support further the application
  • 2 letters of support
  • Detailed CV or resume
