The Department of Biotechnology is inviting Early to mid-career researchers & Post-Docs or institutions for Workshop/ Training in the areas of Genome Editing Technologies and their Application. The Genome editing represents the next step of evolution in our ability to analyse and edit the genetics of plants, animals, humans and microbes. The applications of gene editing technologies such as ZFN, TALEN, have grown significantly in recent years.

About the program:
- This program will also help in conceiving novel ideas, exchange points of view, and foster collaborations. Accordingly, DBT solicit proposals from well-established researchers/ institutions having proven expertise in Genome Editing Technologies for organization of workshops/ training programs.
Total Number of Workshops: Maximum 10 Workshops in regional basis to cover all parts of country.
No. of workshop in one institute: Maximum 2 workshop.
Number of Participants: Between 20-30 (Minimum 50% participants should be on regular positions)
Level of Participants: Early to Mid Career Researchers & Post-Docs
