York Futures Scholarships at the University of York: Support for personal and professional development

Levels of funding

There are four levels of funding available.  You can apply for different levels at different times in your university career, depending on the activities you want the funding to help with.

£250, £1,000, £3,000, £6,000

Application Procedure

There are two opportunities to apply online for a York Futures Scholarship each academic year.

Timeline: 2020/21 Application dates

Round one – Autumn term

  1. Applications will open Monday 5 October 2020 (start of week 2, Autumn term) and close Monday 9 November 2020 (start of week 7, Autumn term)
  1. Round two – Easter vacation and start of Summer term
  1. Applications will open Monday 22 March 2021 (start of Easter vacation) and close Monday 26 April 2021 (start of week 2, Summer term)

Note: The application form will be hosted on this web page during the two rounds of applications each year. Round one applicants will hear the outcome before the end of week 10 Autumn term. Round two applicants will hear the outcome before the end of week 6 Summer term.

Students will be notified of the outcome of their application by email.
