York University VISTA Scholarships: York University VISTA Scholarships

York University is a public research university in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It is the 3rd largest university. The university is offering scholarships to outstanding students to pursue master’s degree program.

Nationality: open for Canadian & international students.

Scholarship Value: up to $10,000 would be awarded

Aim of the scholarship: To provide financial support to high-calibre students doing research that is in line with the VISTA program under the supervision of a VISTA Core or Associate Member.

If English is not the first language, then proof of efficiency in English would be required to be submitted.

  4. Biology
  5. Physics & Astronomy

  11. Visual Arts

Eligibility Criteria:

  1. The applicant should have applied or be in the process of applying for full-time admission to an eligible graduate program at the Masters level at York University.
  2. The candidate must be accepted as a new Masters student in the program to hold the scholarship
    The application must be supported by a VISTA Core or Associate Member who would become the applicant’s supervisor.
  3. If the primary supervisor is a VISTA Associate Member, a Core Member must also be identified to co-supervise;
    the candidate must conduct research in the vision sciences as aligned with the VISTA program.
  4. If English is not the first language, then the minimum English requirements for the chosen program must be fulfilled.
