Applications are invited for the Post of JRF / Project Assistant for the DST-SERB funded research project (Sanction Order No. YSS/2014/000842), in the School of Advanced Sciences (Chemistry Division).

Title of the Project: “Discovery of novel organoruthenium based phototoxic cancer cell markers: A detection and termination approach for A3 receptor targeted Photodynamic Therapy”.
Qualification:
Under JRF Category: M.Sc. in Chemistry (Organic /Pharmaceutical) or M.Sc in Biotechnology/Zoology, with compulsory GATE / NET qualification.
Under Project Assistant Category: M.Sc. in Chemistry (Organic /Pharmaceutical), M.Sc in Biotechnology/Zoology or M.Pharm.
Desirable: Candidate with prior experience in bioassay, cell culture, bioimaging.
Stipend:
For JRF: Rs. 25,000 /- + HRA per month (As per DST norms).
For Project Assistant: Rs. 16,000/- per month (consolidated for 1st & 2nd year) and Rs. 18,000/- per month (consolidated for 3rd year).
Nature of Appointment: Purely on a temporary basis for a period of 3 Year, with a possibility to register for Ph.D.
