TATA INSTITUTE OF FUNDAMENTAL RESEARCH at National Centre of the Government of India for Nuclear Science & Mathematics, Homi Bhabha Road, Colaba, Mumbai 400 005: Applications are invited for a position of Junior Research Fellow to work on Wellcome Trust DBT India Alliance Funded project “Identification of a regulatory gene network essential for the maintenance of the epidermal architecture and integrity” at TIFR-NCRA Campus, Pune :
QUALIFICATION : M.Sc./B.E./B.Tech./M.Tech. (Zoology, Life Science, Biotechnology, Microbiology Genetics, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology) with minimum 60% marks.
JOB REQUIREMENT : Research work involves
(a) Genetic manipulation in zebrafish and microinjections
(b) Immunohistology, immunofluorescence and in situ hybridisation.
(c) DNA/RNA isolation, PCR and cloning.
(d) Maintenance of zebrafish mutant lines.
Experience: Experience commensurate with the job requirements is desirable.
AGE : Below 28 years.
Appointment is temporary until March 2016.
Monthly Honorarium : Rs.25,000/- + HRA as admissible.
