JRF position in SCHOOL OF LIFE SCIENCES, JAWAHARLAL NEHRU UNIVERSITY, NEW DELHI-110067: Applications are invited for the following purely temporary posts in the DBT Project entitled “Contribution of dysregulated micro RNA in pathogenesis of Inflamatory Bowel disease” funded by DBT New Delhi.
The University is located, since 1976, on a campus that is spread over approximately 1000 acres of land on the Aravali range in New Delhi, which has now been turned into a green and open area though many academic buildings, hostels, and residences for faculty and staff have come up during the last forty years.
Presently the University has over 7300 students, who come from all parts of the country and abroad, and from all sections of society. There are over 500 faculty members in addition to administrative staff who, along with students, live on campus, and they interact and mingle with each other irrespective of social or professional status.
1 JRF : One
Salary : Rs. 25000.00 +HRA
Essential Qualifications : M.Sc. in any field of Life Sciences.
Work Experience : Experience in molecular Biology and Experience in immunology and molecular genetics would be preferred and one year Research experience
Desirable Qualification : Qualified National Eligibility Test (CSIR / UGC / ICMR).
2. Lab Assistant : One
Salary : Rs. 8000.00 P.M.
Essential Qualification : 10+2
Work experience : Minimum one years experience in Science Laboratory particularly Biology laboratory
The selected candidate will be appointed on purely temporary basis, initially for a period of one year or till his/her services are required by the project Director or till validity of the project, whichever is earliest.
